The recently unveiled Mercedes-Benz AMG GT has been rendered in a drop-top body style which looks quite appealing.
A new body style of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, the Roadster, will most likely be introduced in the nearby future, but until it will go official, X-Tomi Design is presenting us with a first look into the upcoming model. The roadster will probably steal some sales from models such as the SL or the S-Class Convertible but it will be “green lighted” after all.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT has been officially unveiled last week. It has a new design compared to its so-called predecessor, the SLS AMG, and it packs a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine under its hood, rated at 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. The AMG GT S has 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 3.8 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph). Customers will be able to order the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package, which is adding the dynamic engine and transmission mounts. No pricing details have been announced yet and these will probably be made public at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, next month.
