Mercedes-Benz’s upcoming sports car, the AMG GT, has been recently spotted out on the streets of Stuttgart.
The brand new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is ending up in our news once again, in between spy photos and teasers, with a new image which is showing a camouflaged model cruising the streets of Stuttgart. The model in question will replace the SLS AMG but rather than being more powerful, vehicle will actually come with less power, it will be smaller, lighter and less expensive, which will place it in a new segment where it will be competing against the Ferrari 458 Italia, the McLaren 650S or the Lamborghini Huracan.
The supercar will have regular doors rather than the gullwing design of the SLS AMG and it should come with a conventional limited-slip differential and 19-inch wheels. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is said to get a 4.0 liter biturbo V8 engine under its hood, which will be producing a total output of 455 HP. This will be the regular version of the model and in the AMG GT-S variant it’s said to get up to 503 HP. Rumor has it that the German based automaker will also develop a Black Series variant which will be offered as a top of the line version.
