The upcoming Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will be offered soon with a less powerful version of 462 HP, as reports are showing.
The development of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is close to being done as the new German sports car will hit the market later on this year or in early 2015. Now, after being partially revealed and spied by our photographers numerous times, the guys from automobilemag.com have found out that the vehicle in question will be offered with a less powerful version of 462 HP (340 kW). This will be added along the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 with 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will get the 19-inch alloy wheels in standard, equipped with 255/35 and 295/30 tires, front to rear, while the S version will get the wider wheels with 265/35 tires and the 20-inch rear ones, with 295/30 tires. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will take 3.9 seconds and top speed will stand at 312 km/h (194 mph). More details on it will be announced probably during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October, where the sports car is believed to be unveiled.
