Another prototype of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been spotted recently on public roads.
Most carmakers seem to have forgotten about testing their new models on famous tracks across the globe as more and more of these cars are spotted on public roads. This is the case of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabrio, in its new generation, which has been seen recently while it was being tested out. The model was wearing some camouflage on its body, but despite this, it’s not that hard to imagine what it may look like, once it will be officially presented to the public.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabrio will keep its name, in the new generation, unlike its larger brother, the CLK, which has become the E-Class Cabrio. The model will be competing with the Audi A3 Cabrio and the BMW 2-Series Cabrio and it will come with the same interior design as the sedan, except for probably some bits and pieces. The engine lineup is expected to be shared with its four-door brother, and this will also include the AMG version, which is rumored to pack the 4.0L V8 twin turbo from the AMG GT. The model in question will be unveiled next year, probably during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
