The first renderings with the convertible version of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class generation have recently hit the web and they are providing us with a first look into the upcoming body style of the model.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has already pulled the wraps off the new C-Class generation, in its regular four-door body style, and just a few weeks ago, our spy photographers have managed to catch the Estate variant on camera, for the first time, and now, time has come to talk about a third variant of the model, which is the convertible. The images posted below represent renderings of the vehicle and they have been signed by Theophilus Chin.
The 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabrio will become a direct rival for the drop top versions of the BMW 4-Series, of the Audi A5 and so on. The model in question is believed to be getting a solid folding roof and a reduced trunk capacity, amongst others. As far as the engine lineup goes, the C-Class Cabrio will share it with the regular four-door sedan, and also with the Estate. It remains unclear whether Mercedes-Benz will be offering a C63 AMG Cabrio. Additional details on the new C-Class Cabrio are limited for the moment.
