The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe has been caught on camera by our spy photographers recently, while it was being tested out.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is currently working on a new body style based on the new C-Class generation, the C-Class Coupe, but before this will be ready for an official unveil, the company has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should. The model in question has been spied, for the very first time, while it was being tested out on the road, and the images posted below are giving us a first glimpse of the model, despite wearing a lot of camouflage on its body.
The 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe will be based on its four-door brother and it should be followed shortly by the C-Class Convertible. The two-door vehicle will be sportier than the sedan and the prototype appears to be sitting lower, coming with door mounted side mirrors, with slim taillights similar to the ones found on the S-Class Coupe and, of course, the lacking of the two rear doors. The interior design of the model is expected to be slightly sportier than the one of the sedan and under its hood, the vehicle should be sharing the same engines with its four-door version, which will include the range topping AMG version. The 7-speed automatic transmission and the rear-wheel drive will be offered as standard. The model should be unveiled by the end of this year.
