A long wheelbase version of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class generation has been recently spotted in China, where the model in question is said to be making its debut during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, this month.
The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is getting ready to receive a new body style, but don’t get your hopes too high because chances are it will be aimed exclusively towards China. We’re talking about the Mercedes-Benz C-Class LWB (long wheelbase), which has been recently spotted in the Asian country trying to cover up its extra 60 mm of length over the standard model and we have to admit that it made a pretty good job.
The Mercedes-Benz C260L model pictured above has received the optional AMG pack and it doesn’t resemble the long wheelbase version of the S-Class which basically looks like a sedan which has been elongated into the middle. When it will eventually hit the Chinese automotive market, the C-Class LWB will probably get a different engine lineup under its hood, or not all units will become available. More details on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class LWB will be announced during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, later on this month, where the model will be making its public debut.
