Mercedes-Benz C-Class to get new C450 AMG Sport version image

The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class will soon receive another version, the C450 AMG Sport, which will fill the gap between the regular models and the top of the line C63 AMG.

The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet, but according to the guys at Autocar, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class will soon be getting a new C450 AMG Sport version of the new C-Class generation. The model in question will be getting the AMG Sport accessories, which will include the tinted headlights, the glossy finish for the front grille, AMG side skirts, a rear spoiler, 18-inch AMG wheels, AMG Sport Plus seats in the cabin, finished in Dinamica or Artico leather, and much more.

The new Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport will be getting a twin turbo V6 engine under its hood, which will bridge the gap between the C400 and the C63 AMG. The unit will be developed with AMG specialists and it should produce a total output of 367 HP, being available in either rear-wheel drive or with the 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The vehicle will rival models such as the Audi S4 and it should hit the market sometimes in 2015. More details on it remain unknown for the moment.
