Mercedes-Benz will be officially introducing the new C450 and the GLE450 Coupe AMG Sport at the upcoming 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced its plans of introducing a new AMG Sport lineup, which will be competing with the BMW M Performance and the Audi S Line. The first units of the ne AMG Sport lineup will be based on the C-Class and on the GLE and the two of them will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit.
The new C450 AMG Sport will be taking its power from a V6 bi-turbo engine, which is believed to produce approximately 385 HP (283 kW), while the GLE450 AMG Sport Coupe will be coming with 433 HP (318 kW), from the same V6 bi-turbo engine. The two models will be producing 125 HP (92 kW) less than their full AMG versions and they will be coming with a new body kit which will not be that aggressive, compared to the AMG variants, but it will be helping them stand out from a crowd. More details on the new AMG Sport lineup are limited at this time.
