Mercedes-Benz has recently pulled the wraps off the more powerful version of the C63 AMG, the Edition 507.
Initially announced for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 has hit the web with some official images. The newest version of the C63 AMG, the Edition 507, is a more powerful variant of the model, which is coming with a spoiler lip on the boot lid, with two openings on the aluminum wood, daytime running lights, 19-inch wheels wrapped in 235/35 and 255/30 tires front to rear, larger brake discs with six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear and with much more.
The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 is powered by a 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, which is now producing a total output of 507 HP (373 kW) and it has a peak torque of 610 Nm (450 lb-ft). The figures are now showing 50 HP (37 kW) more than the previous model and 10 Nm more, and they have been made possible thanks to the forged pistons from the SLS AMG, by installing a lighter crankshaft, new connecting rods and more. The model can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62m ph) in just 4.2 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph).
