The first spy shots with the brand new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate have been captured by our photographers as the model was being tested on a public road.
Spring is coming but most car manufacturers continue to test their upcoming models in the snow, in Northern Europe. Mercedes-Benz is one of them as the brand new C63 AMG Estate has seen the camera lens of our spy photographers for the first time ever. The powerful wagon has been covered in camouflage but it still reveals is muscular body and some other parts which are hinting towards an AMG model.
This will be the second body style of the C63 AMG, after the sedan, and its biggest change is the swap of the current 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V8 for the new 5.5 liter twin turbo V8. The displacement of the engine is 5,461 cc and in its larger brothers, the E63 AMG and the CLS63 AMG, it produces 525 HP in base configuration. Keep in mind that the vehicle pictured below is a prototype but it still has wide wheel arches, larger front and rear bumpers, bigger air intakes and AMG specific rims. The model is believed to go official by the end of this year.
