Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S to get more power image

Mercedes-Benz will be pulling the wraps off the C63 AMG S, a more powerful version of the current model, sometimes next year.

The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will soon get a more powerful version, the so-called C63 AMG S, which will go on sale early next year, making its debut after the regular C63 AMG will be heading over to the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October. The C63 AMG will come as a Sedan, Coupe, Cabrio and Estate and chances are that the hotter version, the C63 AMG S, will be hitting the market in exactly the same body styles.

Power to the new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S will be provided by a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, the same one found on the regular version, but which will produce way more than the current 480 HP (358 kW). Besides the power boost, the model in question will also get larger brakes, a different exterior styling and a different interior design. None of the two models will be getting the dual clutch transmission. The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S should go on sale at the beginning of 2015. More details on it will be announced close to its debut.
