German tuner Vaeth has recently finished a new project which was based on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, fitting the vehicle with a supercharger.
According to the aftermarket specialists at Vaeth, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is still powered by the same 6.2 liter V8 engine which has been fitted with a new ECU map, an intercooler and a stainless steel exhaust system. The result is stunning and the German car is now developing a total output of 680 horsepower and has a peak torque of 840 Nm (620 lb-ft), compared to the standard 457 HP and 601 Nm (443 lb-ft), which will definitely help improve the acceleration time.
Vaeth says that thanks to the upgrade kit, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.0 seconds, which is actually 0.4 seconds faster than the standard version. The top speed of the vehicle is 335 km/h or 208 mph and if you’re afraid that all this power will have a negative influence on the stopping distance, we must tell you that the C63 AMG has also been fitted with a new set of brakes. Clubsport adjustable coilover suspension can bring the ride closer to the rode by between 20 and 65 mm and the model is now sitting on 20 inch rims.
