The very first images with the Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into what may become a production version of the model.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA is one of the most awaited models ever to be signed by the German based automaker and now, with the elegant four-door coupe being closer than ever to its future customers from across the globe, theophiluschin.com has posted two renderings of a different version. We’re talking about the two-door variant of the CLA which looks even more appealing than the real-deal. Mercedes-Benz didn’t announce its plans to put the CLA Coupe into production but don’t look all surprised if you will see it on the streets in a few years.
As a quick reminder, the Mercedes-Benz CLA has been officially unveiled back in January 2013, during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The model is riding on the new MFA platform and it’s 182.3 inches long, 56.6 inches tall and 80.0 inches wide. The 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engine, producing a total output of 208 BHP (155 kW) and 258 lb-ft of torque (349 Nm) will be used on the model in the United States, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
