Mercedes-Benz CLA enters production in Hungary image

The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced the production start of the brand new CLA four-door coupe.

After it was officially presented to the public a few weeks ago, in a world premiere, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the Mercedes-Benz CLA is ending up in our news once again, this time with an announcement made by the German based automaker. According to the car manufacturer, the very first unit produced in Kecskemet, Hungary, has been celebrated by Daimler with a special ceremony held at the factory which has been opened just a few months ago. Dr. Dieter Zetsche, the Daimler chairman, along with Victor Orban, the Hungarian prime minister, were present at the celebrations.

As a quick reminder, the Mercedes-Benz CLA is 182.3 inches long, 56.6 inches tall and 80.0 inches wide and it’s riding on the brand new MFA platform. The four-door coupe is coming with a Harman / Kardon audio system, GPS navigation, silver accents, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, silver accents, black trim and more.
