The first rendering with the long wheelbase version of the Mercedes-Benz CLA has just hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into the updated body style of the model.
The first rumors with the long wheelbase version of the Mercedes-Benz CLA have been around since the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show but now we get the chance to see what the model may look like if the German based automaker decides to officially put it into production. The image posted above is a rendering and it’s representing the LWB CLA, which will eventually be launched in China, India and other markets across the Asian continent.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA LWB is expected to make its way onto the market in 2015, and besides the countries mentioned above, it may also become available in other parts of the globe. Additional details on the Mercedes-Benz CLA long wheelbase are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its debut. As a quick reminder, the standard version of the model is 182.3 inches long, 56.6 inches tall and 80.0 inches wide, riding on the MFA platform, the same one used on the new A-Class generation.
