The very first renderings with the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake have recently hit the web and we must admit that this is one interesting ride.

Mercedes-Benz may have not confirmed the Shooting Brake version of the brand new CLA but considering the fact that this is a smaller version of the CLS, the model has a good chance of hitting the production line. The images posted below have been provided by theophiluschin.com and they a probably one of the best renderings of this new year.

If it makes it into production, the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake will get the same engine lineup under its hood as its elegant small four-door coupe brother and this will include the 208 BHP (155 kW) 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol unit, with 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque, which will become available in the United States.

Additional details on the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake are limited for the moment and we don’t even know for sure if the carmaker is planning to put it into production. As a quick reminder, the four-door CLA has been officially presented to the public a week ago during the 2013 North American International Auto Show. The model is riding on the MFA platform and it’s 182.3 inches long, 80.0 inches wide and 56.6 inches tall.
