The very first images with a Shooting Brake version of the new CLA have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first glimpse into a possible future production model.
After showing us the Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe, with its two-door body style, theophiluschin.com is presenting a new version of the elegant small model, the Shooting Brake. The images posted below are renderings and, even if the German based automaker didn’t announce any plans to put the model into production, don’t act too surprised if you will see it in a Mercedes-Benz dealership close to your home in the following years.
As a quick reminder, the regular Mercedes-Benz CLA has been officially presented to the public last month, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The model is 182.3 inches long, 56.6 inches tall and 80.0 inches wide, riding on the MFA platform, which is underpinning the new A-Class and B-Class generations. In the United States, the CLA will get a 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 208 BHP (155 kW) and 349 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft), mated to a seven-sped dual clutch transmission.
