The Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG has recently leaked in what seem to be official images right ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 New York Auto Show, later on this month.
After it was partially revealed online just last month for a PlayStation 4 exclusive game, named Driveclub, and then announced to make its public debut during the 2013 New York Auto Show, on the 27th of March, the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is now entering our news once again, this time with the help of a lot of images which are showing the model from just about every angle. The photos posted below are showing what we already knew, a similar design to the regular CLA but with some tweaks which make it look more aggressive.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is riding on the same flexible MFA platform, which was used for the new A-Class and new B-Class generation, and the model is actually based on the brand new A45 AMG, sharing its engine. The CLA45 AMG is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit, which is producing a total output of 354 HP and it has a peak torque of 450 Nm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Additional details on the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG will be announced in New York, on the 27th of March.
