Mercedes-Benz has finally pulled the wraps off the CLA45 AMG in a world premiere, during the 2013 New York Auto Show.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is probably one of the most awaited vehicles in the company’s lineup just because it’s promising enough for the times in which we’re living, starting with its small engine, translated into small taxes, going through its impressive output and ending with the elegant four-door coupe body style, inspired from its larger brother, the CLS. The Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is based on the brand new A45 AMG, and it’s riding on the same platform.
Pricing for the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG will start at 48,375 USD, destination charge included, once the model will go on sale across the United States, in November. This is 17,550 USD more than the CLA250 with its 208 HP and front-wheel drive, and 6,070 USD over the C350 Sport Sedan, with its 302 HP and rear-wheel drive. The CLA45 AMG is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is good for 355 HP. The unit is mated to a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission, which is sending power to the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is coming with standard equipment such as the power front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, 5.8-inch screen, Bluetooth, anthracite trim, dual-exhaust, 18-inch alloy wheels and more. The Premium Package will add the sat-radio, Harman / Kardon audio system, AUX, heated front seats, auto-dimming mirrors, garage door opener, dual-zone climate control, compass and more, while the Driver Assistance is coming with blind spot assist, adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist.
