Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake facelift spied image

One of the hottest estates on the market, the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, is getting ready to receive an updated version, which will hit the market sometimes next year.

The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has taken the lead from one of its main rivals, BMW, in terms of creating new vehicles and updating the current ones, and besides pulling the wraps off the facelift E-Class or the new S-Class, in several body styles, and also working on the new C-Class, which will be unveiled in a few days, the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake facelift is also under development.

The model in question has been recently caught on camera by our spy photographers, somewhere in southern Europe, undergoing some handling tests on the winding roads. The updated Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG is believed to get a modified front grille, new headlights and some other exterior styling tweaks, which will make it look more like newer models like the A-Class and CLA. The vehicle will still take its power from a 571 HP V8 engine, signed by AMG. Additional details on the facelifted Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG are limited for the moment and will be released in 2014.
