The brand new Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake is getting ready to be launched in China, where the model should make its public debut during the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.
After it was officially presented on the Old Continent last year and with the model already going on sale in markets such as the United Kingdom or Australia, the German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to attract more customers into the brand, with the model’s arrival in China. The local automotive media says that the CLS Shooting Brake will make its public debut in the Asian country during the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show and its price list will start at approximately CNY800,000.
As a quick reminder, the cheapest version of the CLS Shooting Brake, the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is available in the UK from 53,000 GBP, but if you’re into the top of the line and most powerful model than you should know that this is priced from 83,030 pounds. The top of the line CLS Shooting brake is powered by the 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8, generating 518 HP and returning 28 mpg (UK). Details on the Chinese CLS Shooting Brake remain unknown for the moment.
