The German based tuning house Vath has recently presented a modified version of the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG starting from less than 1.000 USD and including “goodies” like exterior and cabin upgrades, along with some extra engine power which should help you climb that hill without turning off the climate control.

The Bavarian based aftermarket specialists at Vath have also found a name for the luxurious CLS63 AMG which they modified and the vehicle goes under the V63RS badge now. Vath says that the kit with all the modifications, including an optimized charge-air cooling system, a suspension lowering kit which drops the ride by 1.6 inches, the engine upgrades and the body kit costs 17.700 USD, but customers will be able to choose whatever they like from all of these goodies.

According to the tuner, the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG or the V63RS takes its power from the “standard” 5.5 liter V8 engine which is now developing a total output of 649 horsepower and has a peak torque of 708 lb-ft, thanks to some ECU and Vmax chips. Vath says that the V63RS can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3.9 seconds, with a top speed lifted to 202 mph.

Last but not least, the luxurious CLS has been fitted with a new aerodynamic body kit, which includes a front airdam, deck-lid spoiler and rear diffuser with under-floor extension, while sitting on large 20 inch forged-alloy rims wrapped in tires size 265/30 for the front and 305/25 for the rear.

The interior design is being offered with a touch of sportiness in the form of the new sport steering wheel finished in leather, the extended-range tachometer, the carbon-fiber accents or the wood accessories.
