The German aftermarket specialists at MKB have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade program for the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG.
According to the tuning company, the German four-door coupe in question, which is fitted with the AMG Performance Package, is powered by the same 5.5 liter bi-turbo engine, which is producing a total output of 700 HP (515 kW) and it has a peak torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). This is a significant change compared to the standard 557 HP (410 kW) and 800 Nm of torque (590 lb-ft), but the company didn’t announce anything about the performance upgrades.
The Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG in question is now able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds, which means that it’s 0.2 seconds than the version equipped with the AMG Performance Package. Top speed now stands at 300 km/h (186 mph), more than the electronically limited 250 km/h (155 mph). MKB says that the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG can even reach 340 km/h (211 mph) when equipped with special tires. Additional details on the model, including the price list for these upgrades, are limited for the moment.
