Mercedes-Benz has recently released new images with the Concept Coupe SUV, the future rival of the BMW X6.
Originally unveiled just a few days ago, during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, in a world premiere, the brand new Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe SUV is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker releasing some new images with it. The model in question will become a direct rival for the BMW X6 and it has a very low roof, of just 1.75 meters, an aggressive appearance, large 22-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 305/45 tires, for the concept version, and a lot of other similarities to its future competitor.
Mercedes-Benz has fitted the Multibeam headlights to the one-off vehicle, and its body has been finished in Alu Beam, a throwback to the ‘30s and ‘50s Silver Arrows. As far as the engine goes, the new Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe SUV is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 twin turbocharged engine, producing a total output of 333 HP (245 kW), at 5,500 rpm, and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque, available between 1,400 and 4,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The production version of the model will be hitting the market in 2015.
