Mercedes-Benz has officially pulled the wraps off the Concept SUV, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, this month.
Mercedes-Benz’s newest creation is aimed towards the premium SUV segment and it will become a direct rival for the BMW X6. We’re talking about the so-called Mercedes-Benz Concept SUV, which is offering a first preview into what is expected to be the long-rumored MLC. Despite the BMW X6 being on sale since 2008, Mercedes-Benz, one of its biggest rivals, or Audi, haven’t managed to provide a direct competitor for this model, but it seems that this year, the three-pointed star will do just this.
The image posted above represents an attractive sporty coupe concept, with a front fascia reminding us of the GLA, some new lines on its hood and on the sides, a new front bumper with large air intakes, redesigned headlights, a raked windscreen, small side mirrors, the obvious sloping roofline, the side skirts, the large alloy wheels and the increased ride height. Chances are that the final production version will be significantly different, but keep in mind that this is the concept variant. More details on the model will be announced on the 20th of April, in Beijing.
