Mercedes-Benz has released the first details of the new GLA Edition 1 which will become available for pre-order in November.
The Mercedes-Benz GLA Edition 1 will become available for pre-order next month and the first deliveries will begin in March 2014. The model in question will get black accents, chrome roof rails, bi-xenon headlights, tinted windows and 19-inch AMG alloy wheels. The GLA Edition 1 will come in cirrus white, mountain grey metallic, orient brown metallic and design magno mountain grey finishes. The cabin of the model will get Alvorada fabric seats, nut brown leather, stainless steel pedals, flat-bottom steering wheel and more.
Other features will include the special floor mats, the black roof liner, the Light and Sight package with ambient lighting, automatic windscreen wipers, illuminated door sill plates and others. As for the engine lineup, the Mercedes-Benz GLA Edition 1 will get a 1.6 liter four-cylinder unit with 156 HP (115 kW), along with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder, producing 211 HP (155 kW). Diesel lovers will be able to choose between the 2.2 liter engine, coming in two outputs, with 136 HP (100 kW) and 170 HP (125 kW). Deliveries will begin in March 2014 and no pricing details are known so far.
