Mercedes-Benz has recently announced the official launch of the facelifted E-Class in India, where the cheapest version, the E200, will set you back for 41.50 lakh.
After it was officially presented to the public just earlier this year, and then launched in several markets across the Old Continent, and not only, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its official launch in India. According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available in three versions on the Indian sub-continent, with the cheapest one being priced at 41.50 lakh.
For the money you will get the E200 equipped with the 2.0 liter petrol engine, which is good for 184 HP. If diesel is what you’re looking for, than get ready to pay at least Rs 44.8 lakh before getting your hands on the only version equipped with such an unit, the E250 CDI. The model is coming with a 2.1 liter engine, producing 204 HP. Both units are mated to the 7G-tronic automatic transmission. There is also a third option, the E 250 CDI launch edition, which is adding a panoramic sunroof, larger rear tires and the company’s illuminated central star. Prices for this model will start at Rs 49.90 lakh.
