Mercedes-Benz will be officially presenting its new Emergency Vehicles during the RETTmobil 2014.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has already shown its lineup for the RETTmobil 2014, but the company will also be introducing the new Emergency Vehicles, during the same event. According to the car manufacturer, the first one to be introduced will be a Sprinter concept, which has been made as an ambulance, getting paramedic livery and emergency lights. It is unknown for the moment whether the interior has received medical equipment but chances are this will be an ambulance from top to bottom.
Besides the facelifted version of the Sprinter, Mercedes-Benz will be also showing the emergency versions of the new C-Class and V-Class. The premium sedan has been described as the perfect emergency vehicle, and it will get a 2.2 liter diesel engine under its hood, producing a total output of 170 HP (125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Little is known about the V-Class. An E-Class rescue simulator will be also brought to the RETTmobil 2014, and this will be mounted on a frame which can rotate to simulate a rollover accident.
