New details and images with the upcoming Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 Concept have been released as the will be introduced in Geneva, next week.
Mercedes-Benz’s newest creations is called the G500 4×4 Concept and this should be the smaller brother of the G63 AMG 6×6, which has been apparently sold out. The model in question is following the footsteps of the above mentioned brother carrying the AMG front bumper, the roof mounted LED light bar, the carbon fiber flares, the side exiting exhaust system, the stainless steel underbody guards, the off-road tires, the 22-inch wheels and several other goodies.
Besides these, the brand new Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 Concept has also received the retuned suspension system, with two spring/damper struts per wheel, a 450mm ground clearance coming in handy when off-roading and so on. The carmaker declined to release interior images at this time but it has confirmed that the model will be coming in with leather seats with diamond quilted Dinamica accents.
Last but not least we have to mention its engine, which is a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8. This is capable of producing a total output of 422 HP (310 kW) and it will be meeting the Euro 6 emission standards. Sadly this is all we’ve got on the brand new Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 Concept at this time as the company didn’t release any performance specifications. However, with its public debut expected to be made at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, more details on it will probably be announced on the 3rd of March.
