The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced its plans to offer the G550 Night Edition in Japan.
After showing us the C63 AMG aimed towards Japan, not too long ago, Mercedes-Benz is now placing a new model into the spotlights, designed for the same Asian automotive market. The new special edition is based on the regular G-Class and it’s named the Mercedes-Benz G550 Night Edition. The model in question is adding some interesting “goodies” to the mean looking SUV, which should make it more appealing to its future customers.
The off-roader has been fitted with twin five-spoke alloy wheels and it has AMG fenders. The G550 Night Edition is being finished in Obsidian Black, and it’s available with porcelain white design or with classic red leather upholstery. Power to the Mercedes-Benz G550 Night Edition is being provided by a 5.5 liter V8 engine, which is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The model will be officially introduced to Japan on the 22th of April and its prices have been set at 13,900,000 yen, or just over 107,000 EUR at the current exchange rates.
