The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is currently working on a special version of its G63 AMG, the G63 AMG 4×4 with some reminiscence for its larger 6×6 brother.
If the impressive Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 has caught your attention, and chances are you want one, than you will be glad to find out that the company is currently working on a smaller version of the model, which will drop its extra axle. The vehicle in question, which is currently known as the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 4×4, has been caught on camera recently, while it was being tested out, by our spy photographers.
From the start, we can notice its modified exterior design which may not be such a big deal if you’re not an AMG fan, but if you are, you will easily spot the differences. The main one will be the body kit which is similar to the one offered on the G63 AMG 6×6, but in a toned down manner. Speaking of its larger and extra wheeled brother, we have to mention the two axles, which will make it a more practical vehicle, on the road, where you will spend your time the most.
Thanks to the modified front and rear bumpers, to the broader wheel arches and running boards, to the roof extension and the substantially raised suspension system, it will put some space between it and the standard version of the G63 AMG. Rumor has it that it will retain the 544 HP and 760 Nm 5.5 liter V8 turbocharged unit and in its production version it should be aimed at markets such as the Middle East.
