The aftermarket specialists from mcchip-dkr have introduced their modified version of the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.

Mercedes has went wild over these past few months with the G63 AMG and after seeing the 6×6 version, last year, the company has introduced a four-wheel drive version based on it (G500) and called, obviosly, the 4×4. But what happens when you cannot afford one or simply don’t want to buy one but you still want to upgrade your current G63 AMG?

Well, the answer stands with tuning companies such as mcchip-dkr, which are currently offering upgrade packages for the hot version of the popular SUV. The model pictured below is signed by the German tuner and it has received a ground clearance of raised by 15 cm, being also 12 cm wider at each side. The vehicle is also getting the 18-inch wheels wrapped in off-road tires, along with the KW DDC chassis setup. Under its hood, the 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine has been upgraded with custom turbos, a specially developed exhaust system and a stage 4 software optimization. The result if 810 HP (596 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque, which is significantly more than what the standard engine has to offer, 544 HP (400 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque. Stopping power has been also upgraded and the top speed achiveable now stands at 229 km/h (142 mph), up from 210 km/h (130 mph). No pricing details have been made public at this time.
