The aftermarket specialists at Vorsteiner have recently updated the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, as the powerful SUV has received some interesting visual tweaks.
The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG can be either loved or hated, because of its boxy design, but the Californian based tuning company called Vorsteiner has recently decided to offer some tweaks to the model. According to the guys at Vorsteiner, the G63 AMG has received a new carbon fiber front spoiler, a new rear spoiler and a set of 22-inch VSR-163 forged monoblock alloy wheels, which have been finished in a Matte Brushed Shadow.
Sadly this is where the upgrades stop because under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is still taking its power from the 5.5 liter V8 twin turbo engine. The unit is producing a total output of 537 HP (400 kW), at 5,500 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 760 Nm (561 lb-ft), available between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm. The engine is connected to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission which is sending power to the all-wheel drive. The gearbox is identical to the one found on the more powerful G64 AMG. You can check out Vorsteiner’s creation in the small photo gallery posted below.
