The facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class has been recently caught on camera, while it was being tested out, by our spy photographers.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is currently developing an updated version of the second-gen GL-Class. The model in question has been caught on camera while it was being tested out over-seas and judging by its camouflaged front fascia we can dare to say that this will be a facelift. The popular SUV is expected to get a new front bumper and probably some tweaks made to the front grille and to the lighting units, which will bring it closer in terms of design to newer models in the company’s lineup.
The development of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class facelift is taking us by surprise considering the fact that the second generation of the model, the X166, has been introduced back in 2012, and with its testing starting just now, we can dare to say that it might be officially unveiled during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October. The engine lineup will probably remain unchanged and it will include the 3.0 liter V6 diesel, the 4.6 liter V6, the 4.6 liter Biturbo V8 in its two versions and the top of the line 5.5 liter Biturbo V8.
