The aftermarket specialists from VATH have pulled the wraps off a new upgrade package, drugs aimed towards the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG.
If you thought that a “hot” compact crossover cannot possibly get any hotter, think again, because VATH is proving otherwise. According to the tuning company, the model in question has received a carbon fiber styling package, adding the front lip spoiler, the rear spoiler and the rear diffuser. Future buyers can also order the 20-inch alloy wheels, with the glossy black finish, along with the lowering springs, which are reducing the ride height by 30 mm and are also contributing to the final looks of the vehicle.
The Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG by VATH has also received a series of upgrades in its cabin too, where the wood trim, carbon fiber trim, alloy pedals, velour floor mats or leather wrapped sports steering wheel can be noticed, amongst others. However, the most important part of the powerful compact crossover is obviously found under its hood where the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine hasn’t remained stock. This is now capable of putting down a total of 446 HP (328 kW) and a peak torque of 539 Nm (397 lb-ft), which is significantly more than the standard 395 HP (290 kW) and 485 Nm (357 lb-ft) of torque. Unfortunately we have no clue at this point on how much is VATH charging for these upgrades but chances are the tuner will come back with more details soon.
