The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to introduce a coupe-like version of the GLA crossover.
The Mercedes-Benz GLA may receive a new version as the car company is planning to introduce a coupe-like variant of the model. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but according to the guys at Automotive News, the model in question has been suggested by Thomas Weber. The company boss said that besides the new MLC, the BMW X4 competitor and the next-gen GLK, a coupe version of the GLA should be hitting the market too.
Our source isn’t saying if the new Mercedes-Benz GLA Coupe will get a two-door body style or a sloping roofline and we don’t even have a clue on whether this will be influenced by the regular GLA in its exterior design and in the cabin. The engine lineup is rumored to be quite different than the one of the standard GLA as a variety of different petrol and diesel engines should be making their way onto the new model. The Mercedes-Benz GLA is believed to be introduced over the next few years. More details on it remain unknown for the moment.
