The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to introduce the brand new GLA compact crossover next month, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Mercedes-Benz GLA is no longer a surprise for anyone who is constantly looking at the automotive industry and the model in question has been also caught on camera, by our spy photographers, a couple of times, while it was being tested. But it seems that the company’s vehicle is closer to its future customers than we previously thought as the model will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Don’t get too excited because the model in question will probably be a concept or a prototype.
Even so, the final production version of the GLA is said to hit the assembly line in early 2014, so by next spring, the model should arrive in showrooms. The Mercedes-Benz GLA, aimed towards the German automotive event in September, will use a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, which will produce a total output of 208 HP, mated to a new seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The GLA’s final production version will be priced from just over 25,000 GBP and it will rival the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3.
