New renderings with a 3-door Mercedes-Benz GLA have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into a final production version of the model.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is said to plan a coupe version of the GLA, but it is unknown whether this will come in an actual 3-door body style or with a simple sloping roof, but even so, new renderings with the model have ended up on the web and we must admit that this looks quite interesting and probably even better than the standard version. But better doesn’t necessarily mean more practical.
As you probably remember, the hottest version of the current GLA is the GLA 45 AMG, which is coming with the same engine as the A45 AMG or the CLA45 AMG. This means a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing a total output of 360 HP (265 kW) and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque, mated to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission, sending power to the AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The GLA 45 AMG can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
