Mercedes-Benz GLC looks good in 3-door version image

It may be a first in the segment but we have to admit that it is looking quite appealing.

Before heading over to your local dealership and placing a deposit, you should know that the image posted above is nothing more than a simple rendering. It has been signed by X-Tomi Design and it is showing the recently unveiled Mercedes-Benz GLC in a 3-door body style, with a short wheelbase. The model in question has received slightly larger front doors in order to accommodate the entering and exiting of the rear passengers, and despite being less practical, it has a good chance of starting a segment of its own, considering the fact that Audi or BMW don’t have anything similar.

The new Mercedes-Benz GLC has been officially unveiled a few weeks back. The model is the official successor of the GLK and it has received a completely new design which has nothing in common with its predecessor but it is bringing it closer to its larger brother, the GLE. The model’s wheelbase is 118 mm longer than the GLK and the vehicle is 80 kg lighter, coming with a total of 1,600 liters of cargo space. It has received the AIR BODY CONTROL, automatic level control, a 7- or 8.4-inch display, a stylish dashboard, carbon fiber trim, wood trim, aluminum trim, panoramic glass roof and a wide engine range under its hood.
