Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe treated by Topcar to red croc interior image

We’re starting to see a pattern here – Mansory has met its match in terms of outlandish modifications – the fitting example being the latest addition in Russian aftermarket specialists’ Topcar roster.

The Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe – a direct competitor to the BMW X6 – never thought about being conspicuous from the get go. Then the Russian tuning firm came with the highly exaggerated Inferno wide-body kit and we started having Mansory déjà vu’s. Now since the owners of the Mercedes GLE Coupe in Inferno form were never going to blend in with the traffic, there’s no reason not to go for the full insane treatment. One customer certainly has and we can’t call this anything but ostentatious – inside and out. That’s because the interior has a wild upholstery that mixes crocodile skin, quilted leather, a suede headliner, and carbon fiber trim.

All of the extravaganza is supported by the popping-eye red shade. The crimson appearance is a little shaded by the blonde wood on the dashboard and doors – and if you think you can top this out you’re actually correct. Topcar is also granting the opportunity to bring a 24-karat gold package for the GLE-Class. As far as power is concerned, the top choice would naturally be the Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe, with the tuner adding in 131 horsepower and 117 pound-feet of torque to the already massive biturbo 5.5-liter V8 that has 577 hp and 561 lb-ft in factory form.
