The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to develop a coupe version of the GLK model which should make its way onto the market in a few years.
The future addition to Mercedes-Benz’s lineup, the GLK Coupe, has started its public life under the GLC name and the model has just received the green light. If you’re interested in the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLK Coupe you should know that it will hit the market in a few years, once the new generation of the GLK will be presented. The GLK Coupe will get a sleeker and more stylish design and it will be based on the MRA rear-wheel drive platform signed by Mercedes-Benz.
The Mercedes-Benz GLK Coupe is the company’s attempt, or the GLC, as it is known internally, to go against models like the new Porsche Macan. This means that the vehicle will get a variety of petrol and diesel engines under its hood and a high performance version signed by AMG is also considered. If it makes it into production, the Mercedes-Benz GLC AMG will probably get the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine under its hood, which is good for 462 HP. Additional details on the Mercedes-Benz GLC are limited for the moment.
