The upcoming Mercedes-Benz GT AMG has been recently spied on public roads while it was being tested and the sports car is believed to make its way onto the market sometimes in 2015.
Mercedes-Benz’s newest sports car, the GT AMG, or the “baby SLS” or SLC, as it was previously known as, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some spy images, which are showing the model on public roads, during a test session. The reportedly codenamed C190 prototype is wearing a thinner camouflage in the photos posted below and it appears to be heavily influenced by its larger brother, the SLS.
The brand new Mercedes-Benz GT AMG will get a long hood, a sport rear end, conventional doors instead of the gullwing ones and a dual exhaust system, amongst others. As far as the engine options go, the model in question will receive a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8, with 485 HP, along with a 585 HP version, which is said to become the top of the line Black Series model. The GT AMG is said to be launched in 2015 and its starting price should be set at approximately 110,000 euros.
