The Indian division of Mercedes-Benz has recently introduced a C-Class Edition C in the Asian country, where the model in question has been priced at INR 39, 16 lakhs.
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Edition C has been designed in order to celebrate the 10 millionth sale of the C-Class, ever since the model was introduced back in 1993. The model in question will become available in a single trim level, the C220 CDI, and it’s taking its power from a 2.2 liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which is producing a total output of 170 HP and 400 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 8.1 seconds and top speed stands at 231 km/h.
The figures announced by the carmaker suggest that there are no mechanical changes in the Edition C, compared to the regular version of the C220 CDI. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Edition C has received an AMG styling kit, a high-gloss black finish for the grille and for the fins, 17-inch alloy wheels in two-tone, a dark tint on the headlights and more. The cabin of the model is getting sports seats, electric sunroof, new navigation system, ambient lighting and others. The C-Class Edition C will be available in only 500 units in India and each one will cost INR 39.16 lakhs.
