You know, Mercedes-Benz just launched its benchmark model this year and as the first deliveries draw near it’s time to count the cash and head to the local dealer – or better yet sit in comfort in front of your computer and just select your S-Class from the net.
The S-Class is not only a chunk full of car but also a real pain in the neck for those who want to make the car into their own image – we have such a huge number of options that if we printed them the local eco guardians would see us hanged…
No problem, here comes to our aid the online configurator, recently launched online – at least for the U.S. clients. For the moment, the option is limited to the S 550, with a price start of $93,825. For that money you get a standard S550, timely fitted with a twin-turbo 4.7-liter V-8 producing a substantial 449 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
From that, adding and subtracting options is everyone’s own choice, but all we can say is that getting to a big six numbers figure is just a few clicks and drags away…
