The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently introduced the new Marco Polo during the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, in its homeland.
The brand new Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo is based on the V-Class and it’s basically a compact camper van with a recognizable exterior design which is aimed towards family vacations. The model in question has been equipped with piano black trim, with several metallic accents, with LED interior lighting, porcelain colored surfaces to create the sense of space, the yacht inspired wood flooring, the fabric or leather seats and several other tweaks which will help it stand out from a crowd.
The vehicle in question has also received the refrigerator, the sink, a kitchenette with two gas burners, a closet, adjustable folding tables, cupboard, two electrically adjustable rear seats which can be transformed into a bed by pushing a button, a second bed in the pop-up roof compartment and more. The engine lineup includes the 200 CDI, with its 136 HP (100 kW) and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque, the 220 CDI with 163 HP (120 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft), the top of the line with its 190 HP (140 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque and its increased version of 204 HP (150 kW) and 480 Nm (353 lb-ft) of torque. No pricing details have been announced but the model will go on sale in Germany on the 29th of July.
