Our spy photographers have managed to capture the new ML Coupe on camera while it was being tested out on public roads.
Mercedes-Benz is currently developing a direct rival for the BMW X6 which was first known as the MLC but now it’s said to be renamed as the ML Coupe. The model in question has been previously spied in its top of the line which is believed to use the same 5.5 liter V8 twin turbo engine which is rated at 557 HP and 720 Nm of torque, but rumors are saying that it might even produce as much as 585 HP and 800 Nm of torque.
The new Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe will be coming with a new front fascia which will bring it closer in terms of design to newer models in the company’s lineup and it will get some updates made in the cabin too. The most significant change will be the sloping roofline, which will make it a direct rival for the BMW X6. Rumors are saying that the regular version of the ML Coupe will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October, while its top of the line version will come in next year.
