Originally previewed by the Concept Coupe during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, the Mercedes-Benz MLC, in its 63 AMG version, has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested.
Mercedes-Benz is creating a future rival for the BMW X6 but before it will be making its way onto the market, the model in question is being tested out by the car manufacturer. The vehicle, which will be called either the MLC or the ML Coupe, has been caught on camera by our spy photographers recently, while it was being tested on public roads. The SAV has a single bar engine grille, the AMG trademark, sportier front bumper, four tailpipe exhaust system and some other tweaks, which are allowing us to speculate that this is the 63 AMG version.
The Mercedes-Benz MLC 63 AMG will be using the 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 557 HP and it has a peak torque of 720 Nm. The model might even produce 585 HP and 800 Nm of torque. The AMG version will probably be announced at least six months after the standard model will be hitting the market and this basically makes it a 2016 model year version. More details on the MLC are currently limited for the moment.
