Originally unveiled as a concept at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, under the Concept Coupe SUV name, the Mercedes-Benz MLC has been recently spied while it was being tested out on the road.
The brand new Mercedes-Benz MLC pictured below is in its pre-production version and it’s expected to look 90 percent identical to the concept, with only a few stylistic touches making the difference between the two models. One of the main differences between them will include the lacking of the frameless windows on the doors, but these would have given the MLC a character which none of its competitors have, especially its main one, the BMW X6.
The front bumper has been modified too, making it look like a close to production model, along with the wheels, which are now smaller. The engine lineup of the new Mercedes-Benz MLC will be carried over from the M-Class and this will also include the top of the line 63 AMG, which should give out some nightmares to the BMW X6 M. The new Mercedes-Benz MLC Will probably be unveiled during the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, next January, and production should begin right after the event.
