The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to introduce a Shooting Brake version of the elegant CLA small four-door coupe.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA may have recently hit the market but that won’t stop the company in planning a new body style of the model, which will transform it into a Shooting Brake, following exactly the same recipe as its older brother, the CLS, with its CLS Shooting Brake. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but according to a recent report, Mercedes-Benz is close to offering a CLA Shooting Brake. If this news has gotten you all excited, don’t be, because the carmaker will probably introduce such a vehicle in 2015, so you will have to wait for it.
The upcoming Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake will look like a smaller version of the CLS Shooting Brake and it will basically provide some additional rear headroom and more cargo space, compared to the four-door CLA. It remains unknown whether the CLA Shooting Brake will receive the AMG treatment, like its four-door body style, in a CLA45 AMG version, but chances are that the company will eventually provide such a model. As for the engine lineup, this will be shared with the regular four-door CLA. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment.
